Twitter vs Twittelator for iPad UI [Revised]
I prefer Twittelator’s UI to the new Twitter iPad app for viewing tweets. Above is the same info: the context of a tweet with the thread. Twitter’s app is clumsy to me in that the extra foldout “sticks” and cannot easily be closed. Twittelator’s interface stays consistent and clean. It’s easier to get back to the regular view. Small point? Yes, but the difference is in the small details.
Revision: I now see that the Twitter app for iPad has a very easy way to collapse the foldout tweet detail pane — touch the “@ Mentions” button. I now prefer using Twitter’s iPad app to all others, except when I want to delete a tweet (can’t find how to do that with Twitter’s app)
